Yann, you can use an account I use for testing in jabber.org

Post by Peter Saint-AndrePost by Yann LeboulangerPost by Peter Saint-AndreThe latest Gajim in Debian Stable is 0.11.4. How old is that version?
Does it support STARTTLS? We've had reports of login problems with the
new server software at jabber.org (including disabling of port 5223).
Thanks!
For the moment I cannot test, the server doesn't reply, or reply so
slowly that I cannot do any test
I'll re-try later
The jabber.org service is quite stable now, so I think it's safe to test.
Thanks!
Peter
I just tried, and no I don't see any connection problem. But I cannot do
a lot of tests because I don't have an account on jabber.org server.
register.jabber.org is disabled for the moment, and In Band Registration
<iq xmlns="jabber:client" to="jabber.org" type="get" id="1"><query
xmlns="jabber:iq:register" /></iq>
<stream:error><bad-namespace-prefix
xmlns='urn:ietf:params:xml:ns:xmpp-streams'/></stream:error></stream:stream>
But connection and TLS handshake works, even in 0.11.4 release.
